The remarkable strength and resilience of the northern pony-folk is more or less a must in the extremely harsh northern reaches of the land. The Equestrian border guard regiment is an elite outfit. Handpicked tough-as-nails earth ponies patrol the furthest reaches of the kingdom, fighting off bandits desperate to get a slice of the riches held within its borders.

Phew this one took a little while, thanks too :iconbraverythehusky:, :iconrainbowdashfan2012:. :iconmatty4z: and :icontwilightismagic: for the input :D It was the child of a burst of inspiration I got from :iconequestria-prevails:'s art
